Well, I couldn't take it anymore with the ol' hair-do. I'm trying to grow it out...slowly but surely.
However, the lack of bang made me feel that I looked about 12 years old. So tonight my pal Melinda gave me a darker, bangs-y-er 'do, and I love it. And, I feel aaaaaaalmost "emo" with the new bangs which was the goal.
My students are going to love this.
Especially the emo ones...
;)
Gotta keep it fresh.
On another note, I have been listening to Eastmountainsouth (East Mountain South...depending on your Google search), and I connect to the songs "Hard Times" and "So Are You To Me." I will warn you that you may cry while listening. These two songs have been more therapeutic for me than I could have imagined a couple of folksy songs could be. And I'm grateful. A good cry to a couple of painfully honest songs helps heal the soul. Let the tears come, I say.
I'm also grateful that May is almost over. Maybe after May I can regularly blog, regularly work out, regularly sleep, regularly bathe...wait. Anyway, May is nuts for anyone involved in the school system, and I also happen to sponsor the Senior class which graduates in....you guessed it....May.
Oh May. Go away.
Here's lookin' at you, June.
(Cheesy, yes.)
;)
